A CLUB BUILT ON CULTURE

Chatswood Rugby Club has been a proud part of Sydney’s rugby landscape since 1912. Based at Beauchamp Park, in the heart of the lower North Shore, we compete in the NSW Suburban Rugby competition (Subbies) – Australia’s largest amateur rugby competition. Subbies is all about balancing competitive rugby with real life, and that’s exactly what Chatswood Rugby represents.

We’re a club that values mateship, inclusion, and enjoyment just as much as the on-field performance. Whether you’re looking to play hard rugby without the pressure of elite-level commitment, or just want to train once a week, have a run, and enjoy a BBQ with good blokes, this is your club.

To ensure a smooth fit with your personal commitments, such as work or university, training is held once a week on Thursday nights, with a free BBQ after every session. We play our matches during the season on Saturdays.

Our home ground and clubhouse are located at Beauchamp Park, where we’ve built a strong community on and off the field.

Whether you’re 18 or 38, returning to rugby or giving it a go for the first time, Chatswood Rugby is the place to play for the love of the game – with a team that feels like family.

We currently field both Senior and Colts (u21) teams, welcoming players of all levels and experience.
